Elizabeth Chang

changViolinist Elizabeth Chang joined the faculty of the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2005. She appears regularly as soloist and chamber musician both in this country and overseas and has been invited to give master classes in China, South Korea, Brazil and in Europe. She has performed extensively with Orpheus and Orchestra of St. Luke’s and various new music ensembles. She is a faculty member of the Juilliard Pre-College, founder and Artistic Director of Lighthouse Chamber Players, co-founder of the Saone-et-Loire Chamber Music Festival (Burgundy, France) and she has founded and directed chamber music workshops at NYU and the School for Strings. She has been a faculty member in the Vianden International Chamber Music Festival (Luxembourg), the Interharmony Chamber Music Festivals (Germany), the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and the Aria International Music Festival.
