Andrew Leonard

Andrew Leonard began playing guitar at age 12, and started classical guitar studies at 16. He received the Master of Music from Yale University where he was a Fellow of the Yale Club of New Haven and the recipient of the Rosoff Award. Since 2000 he has performed widely with Grammy Award-wining, acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Doug Smith in the Leonard and Smith Guitar Duo. He has also released two solo recordings, A World of Guitar Music and Music of the Ages, and is currently a member of the faculty of the Northampton Community Music Center teaching Suzuki and classical guitar students.
