Ben Tibbetts is a professional musician working in the Pioneer Valley. As a piano accompanist at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Orchard Covenant Church, Ben specializes in both collaborative performance and high-level improvisation. At Umass, Ben performs each semester with students on dozens of recitals, classes, masterclasses, and private lessons, and he performs weekly for OCC services in Indian Orchard. In addition to playing the piano, Ben is a prolific composer and arranger of music for live musicians, as well as a producer of high quality audio for films and video games. Ben holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Music in Music Composition degree from UMass Amherst.
