estela-olevskyA native of Buenos Aires, pianist Estela Kersenbaum Olevsky has performed on five continents and collaborated with many distinguished instrumental and vocal soloists as well as diverse chamber music groups including the Olewsky Trio, the Lark Quartet, Berlin Philharmonic Festival Players and various Symphony Orchestras in North and South America. She is Professor Emerita of Piano at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and has given master classes in music schools in the USA, Brasil, Argentina and at the Beijing and Shanghai Conservatories in China. Her discography covers repertoire ranging from Mozart’s Complete works for violin and piano with Julian Olevsky to Piano Solos of Latin America. Piano works dedicated to her include Robert Stern’s “Arrorró” Variations and William Bolcom’s “Rag Latino”. A resident of Western Massachusetts, Ms. Olevsky is a frequent performer at Mohawk Trail Concerts, Wistaria Chamber Music Society and Five College Music events.
