Pianist Judith Gordon has explored diverse repertory, old and new, with groups including the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, the Boston Pops and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, as a member of Essential Music, and with many acclaimed solo artists and ensembles. As guest artist and teacher Gordon returns most often to ChatterABQ in New Mexico, the Bard, Charlottesville, and Harvard, MA festivals, and to Music from Salem, in Washington County, New York, where she is a consulting director. An associate professor of music at Smith College, Gordon is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music where she received an Outstanding Alumni Award in 2009.
