Laura Klock is Professor of Horn at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a member of the Avanti Wind Quintet and Infinity Brass. An active soloist and chamber musician, she has been a guest artist in the Far East, Great Britain, Europe, and South America and in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. She is principal horn of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing and teaching both modern and natural horn with repertoire from the standards to premieres. Recent ventures include the release of a CD featuring Charles Bestor’s Horn Concerto, an upcoming CD of new works written for her, and master classes in Santiago, Chile. She can be heard in recording on the Open Loop, Crystal, Albany, and Gasparo labels.
