Adam Har-zvi is a composer and bassist currently living in Bowling Green, OH. His compositions have been performed by groups such as The Wind Ensemble Society of New York City, The 21st Century Consort, and the Mivos Quartet. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in composition at Bowling Green State University, and holds degrees in double bass performance from UMass Amherst and The Cleveland Institute of Music. In addition to orchestra playing, Har-zvi gives frequent performances of new chamber music. His composition teachers have included Salvatore Macchia, Mikel Kuehn, Jeremy Allen, Kate Soper, and Keith Fitch. Recordings of his recent works can be found at soundcloud.com/adam-har-zvi.
